Odd thing is, I'm pretty damn gay and I am NOT perfect. I can't believe there are so many women who believe the fallacy that gay men understand women because they're so alike...>__<;;

Like one of my shrinks I saw for gender counseling. She actually had the nerve to tell me [is FtM, for those who don't know] that I was looking into transitioning because I wanted a guy who would cook and clean and design my house and cut my hair! Bitch. *grrr*

I think the poem is more about the stereotype or the image rather than actual gay men. And that's why it's funny.

That and the frustrating dilemma when you finally find the perfect man and he turns out to be gay... or taken. But with me, it's definitely always been gay.
