Why is it that when I read a Naruto yaoi fic, all the guys seem to be gay!?

I love yaoi, but that does not mean I want to read a fic that seems endlessly gay! Ex) I was reading one about a day ago where Sasuke and Naruto where suppose to get together in the story. The summary was awesome, so I began to read.... turns out, Kakashi/Iruka where a pairing in it also, so was Ino/Sakura, Gaara/Neji, Lee/Gai, TenTen/Hinata, Jiraiya/Kakashi... and so many more! I was like STOP IT!

Has it every occurred to them that not everyone has to be gay? When I write yaoi fanfiction, at the most only 3 characters are gay, unless the fanfiction/challenge calls for more! I just think it would me much better if they mixed it up a bit. Like Shikarmaru/Ino or something. Use the imagination a little. Just because I'm reading yaoi doesn't not me I'm apposed to het or a little splash of yuri!

I agree..

EveryoneisGay!fics tend to pop up in fandoms with a lot of bishonen. Weiss Kreuz with its eight pretty boy killers comes instantly to mind.

I find it very unconvincing story-wise when this happens, so I tend to avoid stories which have more than two homosexual pairings in them. Although there have been some stories which had only yaoi pairings in them which were so well written I didn't mind it much.

Don't forget Saiyuki and DNAngel either! Though I will admit there are some well written fics that do have yaoi only pairings, but I've only read like two.

I wish I could avoid them, but some only tell you the main pairing and half way through a good fic they spring nonsense like ten other gay pairings on you. Y_Y
